This not including accidents involving vehicles using other emergency signs, but roughly 150 accidents involving vehicles using lights and sound signals. In the majority of cases, it is the drivers of casual vehicles who are at fault. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-large-font-size\">What is the reason?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Do you know the situation, when you hear the emergency siren, but you see nowhere?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are some casual reasons, which can cause problems:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>listening too loud music<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>can&#8217;t see the emergency lights, because of the sunshine or larger vehicle<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>can&#8217;t see and\/or hear the approaching of the emergency vehicle (EV) in an intersection<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"577\" src=\"https:\/\/engicommy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/31791755_c4858dbb872b50ad82054e82de8b6aa9_wm-1024x577.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-264\" srcset=\"https:\/\/engicommy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/31791755_c4858dbb872b50ad82054e82de8b6aa9_wm-1024x577.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/engicommy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/31791755_c4858dbb872b50ad82054e82de8b6aa9_wm-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/engicommy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/31791755_c4858dbb872b50ad82054e82de8b6aa9_wm-768x433.jpg 768w, https:\/\/engicommy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/31791755_c4858dbb872b50ad82054e82de8b6aa9_wm.jpg 1108w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><a href=\"https:\/\/skyting.hu\/brutalis-baleset-budapesten-felborult-egy-mentoauto-csutortok-reggel-fotok\">Ambulance accident<\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>If we compare the number of ambulances in use in Hungary (910) with the number of ambulance accidents (70). The result is 7%. This means, that every year approx. 7% of the ambulances in Hungary are crashed in an accident!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This information is in themselves revealing, but they are &#8220;only&#8221; accidents, and don&#8217;t include the number of vehicle obstruction, which are almost impossible to determine, but can cause significant problems. It should also be remembered that it is not only those directly involved in the accident that need to be taken into account, but also the lives and health of many people who may be affected indirectly by such accidents\/obstructions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Where the approach of an emergency vehicle is not detected, can lead to very dangerous traffic situations. Even if it does not result in an accident, the EV loses valuable seconds due to the inattention of road users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-large-font-size\">Huge problem all around the world<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2021, 198 people died in crashes involving emergency vehicles according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/injuryfacts.nsc.org\/motor-vehicle\/road-users\/emergency-vehicles\/\">Injury Facts.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image is-style-default\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"799\" height=\"335\" src=\"https:\/\/engicommy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/image.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-266\" srcset=\"https:\/\/engicommy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/image.png 799w, https:\/\/engicommy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/image-300x126.png 300w, https:\/\/engicommy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/image-768x322.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 799px) 100vw, 799px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><a href=\"https:\/\/injuryfacts.nsc.org\/motor-vehicle\/road-users\/emergency-vehicles\/\">Deaths in crashes involving EVs<\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Emergency vehicles are travelling at higher speeds to reach accidents and crisis cases in time. This can lead to dangerous situations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Numbers from the USA:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>There are an estimated 6,500 accidents involving ambulances each year in the US.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>35% of crashes resulted in injury or fatality to at least 1 occupant of a vehicle involved. Unfortunatelly there isn&#8217;t only one thing what could solve the whole problem. The <a href=\"https:\/\/engicommy.com\/\">Engicommy&#8217;s team<\/a> working in the vehicle communication area. They develop products and systems which can improve the road safety.
